Not only are People of Color facing more health consequences from COVID-19, but their businesses are also more significantly impacted by the economic downturn. Extension Specialists Tessa Conroy and Matt Kures explain the overall economic impact to Wisconsin as a result of COVID-19 in this webinar and show how COVID-19 is hitting entrepreneurs of color especially hard (minutes 16 – 36). Because of this greater need, Diana and several other colleagues on Extension’s Entrepreneurs of Color Support Team are doing 1-1 check-in calls with business owners of color particularly, to see how they are weathering the situation and offer support.
