This year’s dry summer had most of us constantly clicking refresh on our weather apps, wondering when we could count on the next measurable rainfall to keep our crops moving forward. Extension saw the need and benefit of providing updates from climate experts to ag producers and professionals to help make sense of where we are and where we are going weather wise. The Wisconsin Ag Climate Outlook is the result. This is a joint effort between Extension, the Midwest Climate Hub, NRCS and the state climatology office. The report will be updated monthly over winter and weekly in the growing season. You will find the report posted on the Extension Crops & Soils Topic hub– the direct link is here: https://go.wisc.edu/2r8r57
