4-H Family Learning Day Seeks Youth and Adult Presenters

Do you know how to do simple car maintenance, crochet/knit, or sand and paint a piece of wood? Have you ever decorated a cake, grown vegetables, or created scale models of trains/cars? Would you be interested in learning with youth how to build a rocket, how to work with animals, or how to make balloon animals? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you could be a 4-H volunteer!

We are looking for 4-H adult leaders to work with youth on hands-on projects. You do not need to be an expert. We are looking for adults who may want to lead a session at our Family Learning Day! This is a day of learning where youth can try out new projects. Youth sign up for sessions they are interested in which may be anything from cooking, sewing, woodworking, and anything in between! If you enjoy a hobby please consider sharing it with a youth! Register here to become a workshop presenter: https://go.wisc.edu/2025familylearningdaypresenter

Adult volunteers are essential to the 4-H program. They put 4-H’s researched-based, learn-by-doing model in action. Volunteers help youth learn and practice skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, and communicating – skills crucial for their success in school, careers, and communities. Volunteers can volunteer anywhere from once a year for a few hours to once a week! There are over 150 adult volunteers who have fun while making a positive impact on the youth in Fond du Lac County. Would you like to join them? Want to learn more?
