Meeting Tomorrow’s Feeding Challenges Today
Wednesday, September 25, 2019
9:00 am to 11:30 am | Millhome Supper Club
The effects of Mother Nature from 2019 certainly had an impact on feed inventories and quality throughout Eastern Wisconsin, and most likely will continue this winter. And with late planted corn, fingers are crossed for a late fall. Because of the financial impact of feed on the milking herd, UW-Madison Extension will be hosting a “Meeting Tomorrow’s Feeding Challenges Today” Seminar, as part of our popular “Supporting Farmers During Challenging Times” meetings.
Speakers include Form-A-Feed Forage Quality Specialist Troy Brown on “How to Harvest, Store & Feed the Year’s Forages” and Extension Outagamie County Crops & Soils Agent Kevin Jarek on “Negotiating a Fair Price with the Year’s Forages”.
RSVP by Monday, September 23 at http://bit.ly/2lzRHPV. There is a $5 fee to be paid at the door. Light refreshments and materials provided.
