Fond du Lac County Forage Council & UW-Madison Extension are offering their annual Dairy-Forage Day.
The agenda includes lunch and the following speakers:
- John Goeser, Research and Innovation Director of Animal Nutrition, Rock River Laboratories and UW-Madison Dairy Science Adjunct Professor “Optimizing nutrition programs after winter and tumultuous growing seasons”
- Wyatt Smith, Dairy Specialist, VitaPlus “Relationships between particle size and undigested fiber in dairy cow diets”
- Joe Zimbric, Crops & Soils Educator, Extension “Kernza®: A new perennial grain crop for Wisconsin producers” and “Wisconsin Alfalfa Yield Persistence Project Update”
