Ten new business owners learned how to describe the value they bring to customers and plan for the future using this unique, visual method taught for the first time in Fond du Lac County this month thanks to the partnership of IGNITE! Business Success organizations. During the two-day session, owners received coaching from experienced business mentors, local IGNITE! partners, and each other. Taught by Amy Pietsch of the Fox Valley Technical College Venture Center (an IGNITE! Business Success partner), the workshop was offered to IGNITE! customers at a 90% discount with materials provided in English and in Spanish. Four of the businesses in attendance at the workshop are women-owned and four are minority-owned. Three are in Waupun and one in Ripon.
