The year  2014 promises to bring fun, excitement, creativity, and plenty of learning opportunities for our county’s 4-H members,  as we celebrate the Centennial of 4-H in Wisconsin.

Coming soon – A brief presentation (PowerPoint) with suggestions of how to have fun sharing with others the many reasons why our youth and families have been making the best better for 100 years.

 

Resolution commending and congratulating Wisconsin 4-H Youth development of  its 100th anniversary. The Fond du Lac County Board of Supervisors hereby commends and congratulates Wisconsin 4-H Youth Development for its leadership, cooperation and support, which allow youth and families to apply research and knowledge of the University of Wisconsin to their lives, homes and communities. Centennial Celebration Resource Guide

The Wisconsin 4-H Centennial website is home for your resources. https://blogs.extension.wisc.edu/4hcentennial  It includes a list of 100 ways to celebrate, timeline of Wisconsin 4-H history, an oral history interview guide, calendar of events, and a place to share your story. Two statewide events are being planned. Mark your calendars now. They include 4-H Day at the Capitol on March 19 for members, leaders and alumni to share the impact of 4-H, and statewide service month. You’ll find over 50 service ideas at the web site. Each club is asked to plan a service project for the month of April. You are invited to subscribe to the blog to stay up with updates.
