A youth internship is being offered to an individual with experience in 4-H and youth agricultural programs and knowledge of Wisconsin Youth Agricultural activities. A qualified candidate should be self-motivated and have strong organizational, interpersonal and computer skills in addition to being detail orientated.
The 4-H Ag/Animal Science Intern will work with the supervisor to coordinate and execute various state-wide youth ag/animal science events including, but not limited to, the Commodity Carnival, Farm Technology Days, Area Animal Science Days, State 4-H Dairy & Livestock Cattle Judging Contests, State Dog Show, Wisconsin State Fair and State 4-H & Youth Conference. The position includes overnight travel involved with Area Animal Science Days, the State 4-H Judging Contests and the WI State Fair. The department covers work related travel costs.
