UW-Madison Extension Cow/Calf Days and Wisconsin Feeder Workshops will be combined to create the Wisconsin Beef Special Edition Webinar Series. Join your local Extension Livestock Program Educators, UW Specialists, and esteemed keynote speakers as they present current topics on beef production. Take the opportunity to learn from and discuss with experts on the following dates or listen to the recording when it works best for you (registration required). Each session will begin at 7 PM CT with a presentation followed by a Q& A session until 8:30 PM CT.

Presented by Dr. Mark Renz, UW Madison Extension Weed Specialist. Pasture is the most economical forage source for beef cow calf herds. Poor grazing practices, fertility management, and weed management all cut into pasture productivity and potential profits. This session will cover common pasture weed issues in Wisconsin and how to plan ahead to tackle them in 2021.

Farm Ready Research is Extension’s agriculture winter webinar meeting series for farmers and ag professionals. Join the webinars to learn the most up-to-date information on topics from dairy and livestock production to farm management resources. Sessions begin December 2020 and run through April 2021.
