As the school year winds down, 4‑H is preparing for an exciting summer 2026 filled with hands‑on learning, creativity, and personal growth. June launches a season of enriching opportunities, including the annual Foods Revue, Summer Day Camps, dairy judging practices, Area Animal Science Days, and engaging project meetings. Each activity helps youth build practical skills and confidence while learning valuable life lessons.
The Foods Revue is more than cooking—it teaches youth to make healthy, thoughtful choices through recipe selection, meal planning, grocery lists, food safety, and kitchen skills that extend beyond the event.
4‑H summer camps offer fun, hands‑on experiences that build leadership, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
At Foodie Day Camp, youth don aprons and chef hats as they cook recipes and snacks while learning essential culinary skills. Campers finish with a personalized recipe book to take home.
Cloverbud Day Camp is designed for younger youth, featuring age‑appropriate activities that spark curiosity through games, crafts, and outdoor exploration, all while building confidence and teamwork.
Creativity shines at Cardboard Camp – Cardboard City, where youth design and construct an entire city using cardboard and recycled materials. Campers learn basic design, planning, and building skills while working together to solve creative challenges.
At Wizarding STEM Day Camp, imagination meets science as youth experiment with color‑changing potions, create magical crafts, and explore STEM through hands‑on, wizard‑inspired activities.
Dairy and livestock judging allows youth to evaluate animals while developing critical thinking, communication, and public speaking skills—especially as older participants present structured reasons.
Through these experiences, young people gain confidence, build life skills, and grow as capable leaders. In 4‑H, learning goes beyond knowledge—it helps shape future success. For more information about upcoming 4‑H activities, visit:
