Thank you for inquiring about how you can support the 4-H program in Fond du Lac County! 4-H is the nation’s largest youth development and empowerment organization. In Wisconsin, more than 69,000 youth are involved with 4-H and other UW-Madison Division of Extension youth programs. 4-H programming aims to engage youth in activities to increase their leadership, communication and critical thinking skills. Our programs center on the 4-Hs—head, heart, hands and health. This is the foundation for everything we do.
There are various ways that you can support 4-H, so please refer to the information below or contact Tracy Keifenheim at the Extension Office.

Donate to the 4-H Endowment Fund
Fond du Lac County 4-H Endowment Fund
The Fond du Lac County 4-H Endowment Fund supports over 500 local youth annually and is an investment in the future of our youth. The endowment fund supports college scholarships, leader trainings, camps, project activities, youth recognition, leadership conferences, state competitions, curriculum, county programs, and more.
Ways to donate to the 4-H Endowment Fund:
- In-Kind Gifts
- Honorariums
- Memorials
- Annual Silent Auction
Steps to donate to the Fond du Lac County 4-H Endowment Fund:
- Make a check payable to Fond du Lac County 4-H Endowment Fund.
- State the purpose of your donation – i.e. memorial, in honor of, etc.
- Name the person that the donation is given on behalf of.
- Provide two addresses, one for yourself and one for the person listed in Step #3.
- Mail the information and check to:

Wisconsin 4-H Foundation
The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation provides essential funding for 4-H programs throughout Wisconsin. Individuals, corporations, and the 4-H Foundation are partners in supporting the more than 100,000 youth who take part in various 4-H activities throughout the state. Support the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation today!
Donate to the Fond du Lac County 4-H Program
Each year there are numerous events and activities that are supported by the Fond du Lac 4-H Leaders Associations. The main fundraisers that support the Fond du Lac 4-H Leaders Association are:
- The 4-H Raffle
- The Adult Leader Food Stand at the County Fair
Sponsorships and donations are accepted for the fundraisers, 4-H events, and overall 4-H program.

Professional Support
Our motto in 4-H is “To Make the Best Better,” and we live by this motto in all that we do. Professionals have volunteered their time to help the program with marketing, web development, communications, event planning, teaching, volunteer recruitment, project leadership, and more.

Volunteer
Volunteering your time and talents is very rewarding and satisfying. Not only are you sharing your skills with others, but you are serving as a positive role model for youth in our community. Volunteer opportunities range from teaching an archery class to helping a club plan monthly activities. The various volunteer roles are listed on the 4-H Leader Association page.
