Support 4-H

People holding hands

Thank you for inquiring about how you can support the 4-H program in Fond du Lac County! 4-H is the nation’s largest youth development and empowerment organization. In Wisconsin, more than 69,000 youth are involved with 4-H and other UW-Madison Division of Extension youth programs. 4-H programming aims to engage youth in activities to increase their leadership, communication and critical thinking skills. Our programs center on the 4-Hs—head, heart, hands and health. This is the foundation for everything we do.

There are various ways that you can support 4-H, so please refer to the information below or contact Tracy Keifenheim at the Extension Office.

Donate to the Endowment Fund

The Fond du Lac County 4-H Endowment Fund supports over 500 local youth annually and is an investment in the future of our youth.  The endowment fund supports college scholarships, leader trainings, camps, project activities, youth recognition, leadership conferences, state competitions, curriculum, county programs, and more.

Professional Support & Volunteering

Our motto in 4-H is “To Make the Best Better,” and we live by this motto in all that we do.  Professionals have volunteered their time to help the program with marketing, web development, communications, event planning, teaching, volunteer recruitment, project leadership, and more.

Volunteering your time and talents is very rewarding and satisfying.  Not only are you sharing your skills with others, but you are serving as a positive role model for youth in our community.  Volunteer opportunities range from teaching an archery class to helping a club plan monthly activities. Contact Tracy Keifenheim to find the best volunteer role for you.

Friends of 4-H

Thank you to the Friends of 4-H who financially support the youth in our community!
