Affordable Care Act – Local Enrollment Assistance Available

doctor-w-child-motherOn March 23, 2010, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act. The law puts in place comprehensive health insurance reforms that will roll out over four years and beyond. The official consumer website for enrollment services is: http://www.healthcare.gov

The Wisconsin Enrollment Directory (October 2013) was created to help individuals in Wisconsin make appropriate referrals for enrollment services.  It is updated & published, as needed.

In Fond du Lac County, Agnesian HealthCare, 430 E. Division St,, Fond du Lac, has Certified Application Counselors (CAC’s) available to assist the general public in enrolling.  Contact Kathy Donahue at 920-926-4788, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for more information.

Waupun Memorial Hospital, 620 W. Brown St., Waupun, is currently available to assist with enrollment into public benefits only. They are working on obtaining marketplace certification. Contact Linda Nickel at 920-324-6540. Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, 333 N. Peters Ave., Suite 6, Fond du Lac is available to assist with enrollment into public benefits only.  Contact the Center Manager at 920-922-9884, Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
